Not everyone can afford, or even aspires to, seeing the world from a First Class lounge and the real travellers amongst us know that the best experiences are found when you get into your destination in a way the locals do, experiencing the 'Nitty Gritty' of local life and avoiding the lavish resorts and hotel haute couture: going by the seat of your pants with just a few quid in your pocket is life, after all. 

As a budget traveller, chances are you won’t be taking a vast array of designer luggage and expensive gadgets, and so you don’t want, indeed shouldn’t be expected, to pay extra premiums for unwanted cover that simply is not required. 

That’s why we give you the option to select a level of cover you need and only pay for the features you need. If you want to add one or more of the additional policy features such as cruising cover or snow sports, you can do this when you are getting your quote.

You can buy your travel insurance up to 18 months before departure to ensure you have time to carefully lay your plans, safe in the knowledge they are protected from the outset, and once you travel (or before you travel) and those travel plans change – as they usually do! – you can extend your cover period and add many benefits such as adventure packs, snow sports, cruise cover or motorcycle riding.
